Three Stones will collaborate with NATO, EU and AFRICOM on this important security brainstorming event to predict and prevent crisis in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Please register and join in the dialogue.
The NATO Strategic Direction South Hub, based at JFC Naples, is delighted to be moderating a global online brainstorm event, organised by Debating Security Plus (DS+), from 19 June 0900 CEST to 20 June 2000 CEST.
A first for the Hub, this event is partnered with Friends of Europe and it aims to yield concrete recommendations on some of the world’s most pressing security challenges, from cybersecurity and fighting terrorism to West-Russia relations and de-escalating nuclear tensions. Addressing six different themes, the brainstorm will bring together senior international participants from the military, national governments, international organisations, along with voices from NGOs and civil society, business, the media, think-tanks and academia.
The NATO Strategic Direction South Hub will be moderating Theme 2 on “Europe as a global security actor” and will be particularly interested in participants’ views of the security challenges emanating from the south.
All you need to do is REGISTER on the platform. Among the 30+ VIP debaters who will join us over the two days of the brainstorm, you can share your recommendations and insights with: Franziska Brantner, Member of the German Bundestag and Trustee of Friends of Europe Stefanie Babst, Head of the Strategic Analysis Capability at NATO Annalisa Piras, Director of the award-winning documentary ‘Europe at Sea’ Philippe Rio, Head of the EUCAP SAHEL Mali Mission Nathalie Tocci, Special Advisor to the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and Director of Instituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), Italy Vaidotas Verba, Ambassador and Project Coordinator of the OSCE in Ukraine
